It’s not always that easy to perform at your best all the time, but try these tips for staying mentally tough:

*  Use relaxation skills such as meditation, deep breathing or yoga so that you can still the mind, stay calm and hopefully make great decisions.

*  Is your self belief strong?  Maintain your confidence so that you have the ability to achieve your goals.  Control your thinking and improve your confidence by learning to rescript your negative mind chatter into positive affirmations.

*  Set goals to please yourself.  Be crystal clear about what is really important to you, and set clear goals to reflect what you want to acheive in the different areas of your life.

*  Stay focused until your goals are achieved.  Break big goals into smaller more manageable mini goals.  Celebrate the success of your mini goals along the journey, as they all form a part of your big overall goal.
